aufs: Another Unionfs

Name:aufs Vendor:Scientific Linux
Version:0.20090202.cvs License:GPL
Release:6.sl5 URL:http://aufs.sourceforge.net
Summary
Aufs is a stackable unification filesystem such as Unionfs, which unifies several directories and provides a merged single directory. Aufs was entirely re-designed and re-implemented Unionfs. After many original ideas, approaches and improvements, it becomes totally different from Unionfs while keeping the basic features. See Unionfs for the basic features. Kernel modules for aufs are in kernel-module-aufs rpms.
