                Copy the shared link (=url) into your clipboard
                $ youtube-dl --no-check-certificate url

                I play resultant mp4 in VLC YMMV

                on xbase.lst ignore this error

                If you use ca-certificates then you can
                drop the "--no-check-certificate"
