The "Red Hat Software Collections" has been rebuilt by the Scientific Linux team. No support from RedHat is provided, implied, or available for Scientific Linux. Please send initial bug reports to scientific-linux-devel@listserv.fnal.gov. For reference you may wish to review the Red Hat documentation for these rpms. You can find it at: https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/Red_Hat_Software_Collections/ Each collection has its own repo in addition to the master Software Collection repo. You can find the repofile within the subdirectory for the collection. Simply copy the repo file into /etc/yum.repos.d/ for ease of use. These repos may not work if the collection depends on packages from another collection. For example, ror40 requires the v8314 collection. You can also install yum-conf-softwarecollections to gain access to all the Software Collection repos. We will attempt to keep all the repos up to date with errata, updateinfo, and compatible with yum-plugin-security.
